Bespoke supports for our Mortgage Customers impacted by COVID-19
We know that many of you are worried about COVID-19. At Haven we are determined to continue to support you through this situation and we encourage you to contact us as soon as possible if you have been financially impacted by COVID-19.
For those who may be concerned that you won’t be able to make your mortgage repayments as a result of COVID-19, we have developed two solutions specifically designed to support you during this time.
- You can apply to take a 3 month payment break (moratorium) on your mortgage repayments.
- Or you can apply for 3 months of interest only mortgage repayments.
If you would like to apply for a three-month break from payments or to pay interest only for June, July and August, we must receive your application by 5pm on the 26th May. Please apply online HERE or call our team on 1850 654 329 or +353 1 665 8082. (Opening hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm). If someone else has taken out the mortgage with you, both of you need to be available to speak to us when you call.
It is important to note that when the moratorium or interest only period ends, your monthly repayments over the remaining term of your loan will be increased to ensure that your mortgage will be repaid (together with interest due) within its original term.
This solution is now applicable to both Private Dwelling Home (PDH) and Buy To Let (BTL) customers.

Payment Breaks Extended from Three Months to Six Months
A three-month extension option has been added to the payment break for Haven customers who have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, allowing for a payment break of up to six months in total.
Customers who are currently on the payment break do not need to do anything further for now. Haven will be contacting these customers over the coming weeks and months about this extension option.
This extension option will also be available to customers who have yet to apply for a payment break.
